Dark Sky Northwest Regional Meeting Dec. 2

Dark Skies Northwest will hold its first regional meeting from 9 a.m.4 p.m. on December 2 at the University of Washington's Physics-Astronomy Building, Room A114. The cost of the meeting is free or a suggested donation of $10.

The meeting will include educational workshops, lectures and displays. This will be a great opportunity to learn about controlling light pollution, to pass on lessons learned in fighting light pollution, to educate and be educated, and to promote quality commercial lighting products.

After the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Dave Crawford, executive director of the IDA, will give a talk for the Seattle Astronomical Society in room A102. The general public is welcome.
