Survey Says . . .

By Mary Ingersoll
July Meeting

Mary Ingersoll and SAS Board
Seattle Astronomical Society
Wednesday, July 18
7:30 p.m.

A-102 Physics-Astronomy Bldg.
University of Washington

Come early at 7 p.m. to visit with your fellow members.

Bring your slides for after the program.

REMEMBER that exciting game show called "Family Feud?" Two families were "randomly" chosen from the audience to battle wits with each other on how people (again from the audience) had answered questions regarding arbitrary subjects such as "Name an article of clothing that stretches."

I wouldn't want to compare our club survey with a "feud"; however, it is always fun to find out how everybody is thinking and see how many folks think the same way you do. Of course, there are always little surprises! Our July meeting will be dedicated to a discussion of the survey. Those surveys that have been received by mail will be processed and counted prior to the meeting. We will compare those numbers with those of you who will be bringing your surveys to the meeting. Our hope is to get a census of the membership's desires and ideas so that the board will be able to work on a strategy for long range goals for the next five years.

It is our hope that most of our membership will attend this very special meeting. Cookies and coffee will be served before the meeting.
