Membership Renewal FAQ
Here are some frequently asked questions to help your membership renewals go smoothly.
When does my club membership expire? The expiration date is to the right of your name on the label of your Webfooted Astronomer each month. When it’s time to renew, the date is highlighted, and our great circulation staff stamp “Time to Renew” or “Last Issue” in red on the newsletter.
Should I send the Sky & Telescope and Astronomy renewal notice to the treasurer?Renewals to the magazines go in as your name, address etc. If I have your subscription number, I always add that to the order form. It’s one more way to be sure that the magazines renew YOUR subscription and not one for someone with a similar name. If you don't have the renewal notice, please note on your check or the membership form that this is a RENEWAL, so I can note that on the form I send to the magazine.
Why does it take longer to get my Astronomy renewal?Astronomy magazine wants 5 renewal/new subscriptions at a time. So sometimes I have to hold the order until I have five names to send them. Sky & Telescope will take any number; since more people subscribe to S&T, I always have several of those to submit.
